Your New Role – What You’ll Be Doing
You will be an integral part of the project team and will be responsible for the following:
- Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensuring that all activities stay on track both time- and cost-wise.
- Coordinating with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, architects, and regulatory bodies.
- Conducting routine site inspections to monitor construction progress, ensure quality, and enforce safety standards.
- Proactively addressing on-site challenges and providing technical direction and effective solutions.
- Ensuring strict compliance with building codes, legal regulations, and environmental standards.
- Reviewing and evaluating project designs, specifications, and technical drawings for accuracy and practicality.
- Offering guidance during the design phase to streamline construction processes and recommend optimal materials.
- Collaborating with design teams to resolve design issues or make necessary changes.
- Implementing quality control protocols to maintain construction standards and conducting inspections and testing of materials and workmanship.
- Identifying and documenting deviations, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
- Coordinating closely with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to integrate cross-disciplinary elements.
- Promoting a positive team culture by encouraging open communication and collaboration.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s is a plus)
- Eligibility for or possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and familiarity with tools like AutoCAD and power system analysis software is a bonus
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability
- Emirati family book holder
- Valid driving license
- Willingness to travel as required
